My Approach
-
I Meet You Where You Are
You can start therapy with very little to a lot of insight into what is impacting you. I offer a supportive space of exploration and healing in which you will never be judged.
-
You Have Strengths
It takes courage to start therapy, and to do the hard work of self-reflection and processing of difficult feelings. I take a strengths-based approach that honors this courage and celebrates you.
-
Our Relationship Matters
Our therapeutic relationship is a critical component of your healing process. The more comfortable you are with me, the deeper you can go in therapy. You can always be honest with me.
-
History is Important
Our childhood influences who we become as adults. It is important to reflect on and understand the past, but to know that you are not destined to repeat unhealthy patterns.
-
Therapy Can Feel Messy
Therapy asks you to think about and process difficult feelings and memories. You may see an increase in sadness or anxiety, which is normal and temporary. Contentment and joy are on their way.

Treatment Time Varies
Every person comes to therapy with a unique concern and way in which they process and cope with difficult things. We will continually monitor your progress, and determine treatment time together.
